Nottinghamshire Police have closed a road in the city while they deal with the incident.
Police said at 7:33 am on Sunday 8 September:
‘Motorists are advised to avoid Manvers Street, in Nottingham city centre.
‘Officers are currently responding to concerns for someone’s safety.
‘There is no wider threat to the public.
