Motorists are being advised to allow additional travelling time as road closures, lane restrictions and temporary traffic lights remain in place across Nottingham during the week beginning Monday 27 July.
A series of roadworks will affect journeys across Nottingham during the week beginning Monday 27 July.
National Highways work will result in lane closures at both ends of the A52 improvement scheme from Monday 27 until Wednesday 29 July.
One lane will be closed on Derby Road approaching the QMC roundabout, while a further lane closure will be in place on Wollaton Vale approaching Priory Island.
Separate resurfacing work continues on Middleton Boulevard between Wollaton Road and Derby Road. Road closures have been in place since 8 July and are expected to remain until Sunday 2 August.
Temporary traffic lights will be introduced on Camberley Road, between Blenheim Lane and Limekiln Court, from Monday 27 July. The restrictions are required for Cadent Gas work and are expected to continue until Friday 7 August.
National Grid work will also result in a lane closure on Ilkeston Road, between Balfour Road and Albert Grove, from Wednesday 29 until Friday 31 July.
Multi-way temporary traffic lights remain in operation on Bramcote Lane, between Wollaton Road and Parkside, for Cadent Gas work. The restrictions are scheduled to remain until Friday 31 July.
In Radford, two-way lights on Radford Road between Isandula Road and Silverdale Road are expected to remain until Wednesday 29 July for development work.
Three-way temporary lights are also operating on Johnson Road, between Elmsthorpe Avenue and Dunlop Avenue, while a new gas connection is installed for a development. The work is due to finish on Friday 31 July.
At Wilkinson Street, multi-way lights are being introduced at the junction with Armstrong Way from Sunday 26 July until Sunday 9 August. The restrictions are needed for repairs to the NET tram tracks.
A southbound bus lane closure is planned on Mansfield Road between Goose Fair Island and Forest Road East until Friday 14 August. Motorists may encounter lane restrictions in the area during the work.
Other continuing restrictions include a lane closure on London Road between Ryehill Street and Crocus Street for highway improvements. This is expected to remain until Friday 14 August.
Two-way lights on Stonebridge Road, at its junction with Alfred Street South, are scheduled to continue until Monday 24 August for Cadent Gas work.
Lindfield Road remains closed between Alwyn Road and Shipley Road for Severn Trent work until Friday 21 August.
Longer-term gas main replacement work is taking place on Hoewood Road between Rock Street and Milford Close. Two-way temporary lights are expected to remain until Friday 2 October.
Emergency Severn Trent work to repair a leak on Trowell Road, between Sandringham Crescent and Balmoral Crescent, is due to finish on Monday 27 July.
Three-way lights on Farnborough Road, from Swansdowne Drive towards Southchurch Drive, are meanwhile scheduled to remain until Wednesday 29 July for Severn Trent work.
Drivers are advised to allow additional time and check the latest traffic information before setting out, as the dates may change depending on the progress of the work.
