The fire service say that four people were trapped on the roof the vehicle having driven into flood water.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘We have rescued four people trapped on the roof of a vehicle in Trowell.
‘Please do not drive through flood water.
‘You put your life at risk and the firefighters who will have to rescue you.

‘Our Joint Control room is experiencing a large number of calls.
‘Please only call 999 if there is an immediate risk to life.
