It is a relatively settled start on Nottinghamshire’s main road network this morning.
The M1, A1, A46 or A52 are running with no issues at 6 am.
The most significant change for commuters is on the buses following the sudden closure of CT4N.
Buses – CT4N closure affects services from today
CT4N ceased trading on Friday 14 August, immediately affecting a number of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire routes. The affected services include Nottingham routes 19, 20, L2, L4 and L14, as well as Easylink. In Nottinghamshire, services 66, 300, 510 and 511 are affected.
There is better news for passengers on the 18. Nottingham City Transport takes over the Nottingham–QMC–Beeston–Bramcote–Stapleford service from today, initially operating an hourly timetable. The full 18/18A/18B/18X timetable is due to begin on 1 September.
A substantial programme of other bus diversions is also in force. Nottingham Road in Bingham closes today until 29 August, affecting the 90, while works on Shakespeare Street are affecting the 28, 30, 35, 36, 77, 78 and 79.
Closures also continue on Edwards Lane, Cockington Road, Gedling Road, Bramcote Lane, Main Street in Calverton, Nuthall Road and Loughborough Road between Nottingham Knight and Ruddington.

Rail
The weekend strike and Nottingham–Sheffield engineering disruption have finished, but East Midlands Railway remains on its temporary reduced Intercity timetable until further notice. National Rail continues to list this as an active service alteration.
New engineering alterations begin tonight. The 21:37 Liverpool Lime Street–Nottingham service is amended from today through Friday 21 August because of works between Nottingham and Long Eaton.
Late-night London services are also affected from tonight until Thursday. The 23:35 London St Pancras–Nottinghamwill run 24 minutes later from Leicester through to Nottingham and will not call at Market Harborough.
