Traffic is generally moving normally on the main routes around Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, with no major incidents currently reported by National Highways or Nottingham Travelwise.
Drivers should continue to allow additional time around established roadworks, particularly on the M1 between junctions 28 and 30, where a long-term programme of central reservation barrier replacement work is taking place.
National Highways is also preparing to close the A1 northbound between Harlaxton and Barrowby overnight from Wednesday 5 August until Friday 14 August.

Nottingham Express Transit is operating a regular service alongside planned track works.
Trams are not running between Wilkinson Street and The Forest, with a replacement bus service operating between the two stops.
The work is scheduled to continue until Sunday 9 August, with normal services expected to resume on Monday 10 August.

East Midlands Railway’s temporary reduced Intercity timetable remains in place because of reliability and maintenance problems affecting its train fleet.

Nottingham City Transport’s university hopper service 901 will be diverted throughout today because Station Road in Kegworth is closed for resurfacing.
The service will follow an alternative route between Sutton Bonington Campus and Kegworth Market Place. The Anchor Inn and Mill Lane stops will not be served, with Borough Street available as the nearest alternative.
Passengers have been advised to allow additional time.
Overnight works affecting buses travelling towards Nottingham city centre also remain in place. Brown, Lime, Yellow and Purple Line services may be diverted during the works.
