Winds will remain very light, mainly from the west at around 2mph, with gusts close to 9mph. Visibility will stay very good.
Humidity will fall sharply, reaching around 40% by midday. UV levels will be moderate to high, reaching 5 by late morning and 6 around lunchtime, so sun protection is advisable for anyone outdoors.
Afternoon
The afternoon is expected to be hot, dry and bright, with sunny spells and some cloud developing at times.
Temperatures are forecast to reach 29C by 1pm and around 30C from 2pm to 5pm. The “feels like” temperature is expected to peak at around 31C during the afternoon.
Winds will come from the west and west-north-west, generally around 3mph to 5mph, with gusts increasing to around 18mph by late afternoon.
Visibility will remain very good, while humidity will stay around 40%. The chance of rain remains below 5% through the afternoon, although cloud will increase at times later.
Evening
The evening will remain very warm, with sunny spells and some cloud at first before clearer spells later.
Temperatures are expected to fall from around 29C at 6pm to 28C by 7pm and 26C by 8pm. It will stay warm later, with temperatures around 25C at 9pm, 23C at 10pm and 23C at 11pm.
The chance of rain is around 10% early in the evening, before falling below 5% from around 8pm onwards.
Winds will turn north-westerly and then north-north-westerly, generally around 5mph to 7mph. Gusts will reach around 19mph to 21mph for much of the evening.
Visibility will remain very good throughout. Humidity will rise from around 40% early in the evening to about 61% by 11pm.
