Temperatures gradually rise to 3–4C by midday, though the real-feel remains close to –1C due to a steady north-north-westerly breeze at 10–12mph. Humidity falls towards 67–71 per cent, the air becomes drier, and visibility stays very good. It remains dry, with only a small, 10 per cent risk of any showers.
Afternoon
Dry and mostly bright conditions continue through the afternoon. Temperatures hold between 4–5C but feel closer to freezing thanks to the persistent north-north-west wind at around 11–12mph. Cloud increases slightly at times, but occasional sunshine continues. Humidity drops towards the high 60s, and the risk of precipitation stays around 10 per cent.
