Saturday promises a largely dry day with mild temperatures, plenty of cloud but also occasional sunshine later on

The weather forecast for Saturday 23 August in Nottinghamshire.
In the early morning, skies will be mostly cloudy with only a small chance of light showers at around 10 per cent. Temperatures will start at 14°C at dawn, slowly lifting to 15–16°C by mid-morning. Winds will be light from the east and north-east, while humidity remains fairly high, close to 80 per cent.

By midday, cloud cover is expected to persist, with the chance of rain still minimal. Temperatures will climb to 17°C by noon and reach 18°C by early afternoon. Winds from the south-east will remain gentle, and visibility will be very good, although it may feel slightly humid at times.

In the afternoon, brighter conditions will begin to develop. Temperatures will reach their peak at 19°C around mid-afternoon. The likelihood of rain will drop further to less than 5 per cent, and a light easterly breeze will continue.

During the evening, skies will gradually clear with some sunny intervals around 17:00 to 19:00. The temperature will remain pleasant at 19–20°C early in the evening before slipping back to 16°C by late evening. Rainfall remains highly unlikely, and conditions will stay calm with only a light breeze from the east and south-east.
