The weather forecast for Thursday 4 September in Nottinghamshire.
Early morning cloud will dominate with rain setting in from around 07:00 onwards. The chance of rainfall rises sharply to 60–80 per cent between 07:00 and 10:00. Temperatures will hold at 13°C through the early hours, with light south to south-southwest winds and good visibility despite the damp conditions.
By midday, outbreaks of rain will continue, some of them heavy, with rain chances still around 70–80 per cent. Temperatures will lift slightly to 15°C, with winds picking up from the south-southwest.
In the afternoon, showers will persist though begin to break up. Between 13:00 and 15:00, rainfall probabilities remain high at 60–80 per cent, but some brighter intervals may develop between showers. Temperatures will rise to a maximum of 16°C, with westerly winds freshening.
During the evening, rain will ease steadily with the chance of showers dropping from 40 per cent at 18:00 to less than 10 per cent by 21:00. Skies will turn drier and clearer overnight, with temperatures falling back from 16°C to 13°C by late evening. Winds will ease from the west-southwest.
