The junction works are in the final stages.
Work started in March 2022 and was scheduled for completion by January 2023.
National Highways said in an update on Tuesday 18 April:
‘We’ve almost completed the second phase of the A52 Nottingham junctions improvement scheme.
‘The recent run of bad weather, including Storm Noa, has prevented us from carrying out some final planned work in the overnight road closures.
‘The team is now focused on opening the roundabout for traffic on 24 April 2023.
‘We’re sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

‘We’ll be carrying out the final work under lane closures only to ensure traffic can remain flowing at all times.
‘When the junction opens, the temporary speed limit on the A52 eastbound will remain in place to allow safe access and egress while we’re demobilising the site compound.
‘Where possible, we’ll keep you updated on significant changes. Thank you for your ongoing patience during this construction work.’
