Picture released after £3,000 of beauty products stolen from Boots

Officers have released images of a man they wish to trace after more than £3,000 of products were stolen from a Netherfield store.

Police were called to Boots at Victoria Retail Park on Monday 5 May just after 2pm.

A man walks into the store and places a large volume of beauty products into his bag before leaving the store without payment.

Officers have carried out a number of lines of inquiry to find the person responsible.
They are now releasing an image of a man that could help them with their investigation and are calling on the public’s help to identify him.

PC Tony Mait, who is investigating the incident, said:

“This was a high-volume shop theft where more than £3,000 of products were taken.

“Shop thefts have a detrimental impact on our local businesses and therefore it is vital we find the person responsible and ensure they are put before the courts.

“We have released an image of a man that could help us with our inquiries. We would welcome the public’s help in identifying him.
