Police have released images of three people they would like to trace after a man was assaulted outside a Nottingham nightclub.
The incident happened outside Ocean in Greyfriar Gate at around 12.45am on 24 April.
The victim was waiting for a taxi when he was approached by a small group and punched in the face. This caused him to fall backwards and he was then kicked several times while laying defenceless on the ground.
The group fled the scene and the incident was later reported to the police.
Inquiries to trace the offenders have been ongoing since the incident and officers are now turning to the public’s help.

PC Toby Arnold, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This was a nasty assault and the victim’s injuries could easily have been more serious.
“As part of our investigation, we would like to speak to the three people in the images we’re releasing today, as we believe they will be able assist our inquiries.
“If you recognise any of the individuals, please call 101 quoting the refence number 25*247611. You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
