The Boeing 747 aircraft caught fire on landing at East Midlands Airport.

The aircraft caught fire on the evening of Thursday, 30 September at EMA.

Witnesses report that the plane’s engine appeared to have caught fire after a big bang was heard.

Flames erupted from the engine as it landed at EMA after its flight from Leipzig, Germany.
