A local photographer has captured images of The Northern Lights over Langar in Nottinghamshire.
Nigel Wood captured the amazing images and said:
‘Although not visible to the naked eye the Northern Lights could be seen by taking photographs with a digital camera.
‘This is the first time I have seen the spectacle in Nottinghamshire.
‘We are too far south for most of the displays.’
