River levels are rising across Nottinghamshire as the area is still on flood alert.
There are a number of Flood Alerts in force for the county, the lowest warning, with no Flood Warnings ( take immediate action ) currently issued.
The Trent at Gunthorpe Bridge has burst its banks at The Unicorn Hotel car park and at various points along the road to Shelford. Roads are passable this morning but water levels across the fields adjacent to the river are above the banks and rising.

The Trent at Trent Bridge and Holme Pierrepont is high, but not as high as the floods of 2019 this morning ( 20 January 2021 11 am ).
The A52 including Stragglethorpe Road are unaffected this morning, Cotgrave Lane in Tollerton is closed except for access because of flood levels and the danger to properties on the road.

The river is flowing fast though, and some fields along the lanes in Rushcliffe near Cotgrave and Tollerton have standing floodwaters. A small amount of flood water is approaching the camping park at Holme Pierrepont.
