The road was closed in both directions to investigate the incident.
Police said:
‘Derby Road in Lenton was closed in both directions at around 1 pm on 19 May near to the Savoy Cinema after a cyclist was found injured.
‘The cyclist was taken to hospital and a police cordon was in place while investigation work took place.
The road is now open in both directions.
