Police discovered a drugs haul and arrested a man after attending a property amid concerns for a person’s welfare.
Officers attended a property in Southglade Road, Bestwood, shortly before 5.30pm on Monday (28 February).
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs after heavy amounts of drugs and money were found inside the property.
Sergeant Paul McMillan, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “By conducting a check at a property we had concerns about, a significant amount of drugs were found and removed from circulation.
“We understand concerns that communities have when it comes to drugs activity.
“We want to reassure them that we are dedicated to tackling this and any reports of such activity will be thoroughly investigated.”
