A man in his 40s has died at a home in Carlton in Lindrick, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to the property in Knaton Road on Wednesday afternoon (21 October) following reports of a man’s sudden death.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.
Police said the death is not thought to be suspicious at this stage. Officers and a cordon are expected to remain in the area until Friday afternoon (23 October).
The force issued the update in response to speculation about the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “We are aware of some speculation about an incident in Carlton in Lindrick, so we wanted to take the opportunity to keep you updated.”
