Police officers from the West Bridgford neighbourhood policing team headed out on the roads on New Year’s Day to make sure drivers were sticking to the law.
Police said:
‘Officers patrolled Alford Road and Melton Gardens they kept an eye out to make sure motorists were abiding by speed limits and also for anyone they suspected of driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
‘They pulled over multiple motorists to have a chat about the dangers of not abiding to the speed limits and the consequences that could have.
‘It was great to see so many drivers keeping to the laws of the road and no one getting behind the wheel over the limit.’
