Officers from Mansfield North Neighbourhood Policing Team have been conducting proactive patrols.
Police in Mansfield said:
‘The Surron was seized after being seen driving at high speeds over pavements and on roads.
‘PCSOs from the team were conducting routine enquiries when they saw the offending bike. The driver attempted to evade them but he was grabbed off the bike by the officers.
‘The van was stopped while being driven by a disqualified driver, who also had no insurance or tax, and was subsequently seized.

‘The silver car came to our attention due to its poor manner of driving. Roadside checks revealed it to have no insurance; therefore, it was seized.

‘The E-bike was being ridden down a busy high street and came to officers’ attention due to its poor condition. With the handlebars pointing one way and the wheel facing the other, it was photographed after the rider tried to fix it at the roadside, and as can be seen, it is still defective.

‘A male suspect was arrested and charged with drink-driving after providing a breath sample of 40, the legal limit being 35.
‘These are just a few highlights of our recent work, carried out alongside our routine duties and responsibilities. As a team, we are committed to keeping the communities we work in safe, and we will continue working hard to ensure this.’
