There incident happened on 16 November.
Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit spotted the driver in Normanton.
A spokesperson said:
‘We actively keep an eye on disqualified drivers and target them when they are suspected of still driving.
‘This disqualified driver was found chugging a beer at the wheel.
