Queen’s Drive Park & Ride: Site will remain CLOSED all weekend

The facility will remain closed until the council has tested infrastructure and cleaned up.

‘Significant progress at Queens Drive. Power is mostly restored but a few issues remain with buildings still damp in places. More time is needed to ensure the power remains stable and to allow testing over the next few days. A further site review is planned for Monday 20 January.’

Transport Nottingham ( Nottingham City Council ) said:

UPDATE: Conditions have improved considerably over the past few days, ice has melted and we’re hoping to get a sweeper on site tomorrow to clear up floodwater debris. Then we’ll look to start site infrastructure testing and carry out repairs if needed.


Nottingham City Council said at 11 am on Monday 13 2025

‘Reminder that Queens Drive remains closed into this week.’

Nottingham City Transport said at 4:30 pm on Friday 10 January:

‘Queens Drive park-and-ride remains closed over the weekend and possibly into the early part of next week.’

‘Thankfully most of the floodwater has now receded but much of the site is covered in ice.

‘A number of equipment checks will take place when it has melted
