Residents have raised issues around inconsiderate parking, including vehicles blocking driveways, stopping on double yellow lines and restricting access for emergency services. The meeting focused on identifying practical steps to improve the situation and ensure the needs of both the local community and visiting supporters are balanced.

Drivers attending matches or academy events are being reminded to park responsibly and within the law. This includes avoiding restricted areas such as double yellow lines, not obstructing roads or residential access, and respecting H-bar markings outside homes. Ensuring routes remain clear for emergency vehicles was also highlighted as a priority.

Visitors are also being encouraged to consider car sharing where possible, in an effort to reduce the number of vehicles in residential streets during busy periods.

Those involved said the aim is to allow supporters to enjoy football activities while maintaining a safe and respectful environment for residents living nearby. Further engagement between stakeholders is expected as efforts continue to address the issue.
