Bus passengers across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire are being advised to check their journeys next week as a series of road closures and roadworks affect several services.
Nottingham City Transport has confirmed disruption to routes in Nottingham, Arnold, Gamston, Stanford on Soar and other areas from Monday 13 July.
Middleton Boulevard
Route 53 will be affected by an overnight closure of Middleton Boulevard on Monday 13 July.
Passengers travelling during the closure should allow extra time and check for diversion details before setting out.
Melton Road, Stanford on Soar
Route 1 will be affected by a daytime closure of Melton Road in Stanford on Soar from Monday 13 July until Friday 17 July.
The service may be diverted while the closure is in place.
Carlton Hill
Routes 25/B, 26 and 27 will be affected by overnight closures of Carlton Hill from Wednesday 15 July until Thursday 16 July.
Passengers using evening and early-morning services are advised to check revised route information.
Beckside
Route 6 will be affected by the closure of Beckside on Thursday 16 July.
Bramcote Lane, Wollaton
Roadworks on Bramcote Lane are continuing to affect route 30.
The works began on 2 July and passengers should continue to expect possible delays or diversions.
Arnold Lane
Routes 44 and 60 remain affected by overnight closures of Arnold Lane until Thursday 16 July.
The closures began on 6 July.
Wheatcroft Island and Gamston Island
Routes 12 and C remain affected by closures at Wheatcroft Island and Gamston Island until Tuesday 14 July.
The closures began on 9 July and may result in diversions and longer journey times.
Lowdham Roundabout
Major roadworks at Lowdham Roundabout are due to begin on Monday 3 August and are expected to continue for around 13 months.
Route 26 will be affected throughout the works.
Linden Way, City Hospital
Route 40A continues to be affected by the closure of Linden Way at City Hospital.
The closure remains in place until further notice.
Passengers are advised to check live service updates before travelling and allow additional time for their journeys.
