Rushcliffe: ‘Report street racing and we’ll attend’ say police after seizing vehicle

Police in Rushcliffe urge residents to report incidents of car cruising

Police attended a security gate to Ratcliffe on Soar power station and the fuel station at Saxondale.

A spokesperson for Rushcliffe police said:

‘Officers again have attended reports of street racing and noise nuisance from car cruisers.

‘We’d like to thank the caller from Bingham for actually reporting to the police, if people report incidents to the police when they are occurring then officers can be deployed.

‘On this occasion officers arrived just as the car cruisers were obstructing the forecourt and delaying a fuel delivery.

‘Colleagues on City South witnessed a driver who already has a S59 warning driving without due care and attention and have a vehicle near Clifton.’
