On Friday and Saturday evening officers from Rushcliffe Neighbourhood Policing Team joined officers from City South, Broxtowe, Operational Support Roads Policing Unit and Special Constables to tackle anti-social driving.
Police said:
‘While some officers were deployed in unmarked cars and on foot in plain clothes, others attempted to hide our marked pick-up truck, Sports Utility Vehicles and estate cars nearby ready to enforce offences witnessed by the plain clothes officers.
‘Seven drivers have been issued with traffic offence report forms for driving without due care and attention six of those were issued with S59 warnings and the seventh had their vehicle seized as they had previously been issued a S59 warning.
‘Two other officers from Rushcliffe NPT responded to a report of a cow on the road near Bunny on Saturday evening, enquiries are on going to trace the owner and make sure the fence line is secured.’
