Join South Notts Mens Chorus at The Poppy and Pint for a couple of hours in an afternoon packed with music, laughter, and a splash of adventure as we dive into the world of Sea Shanties!
Whether you’re a seasoned singer or a complete beginner, our Sea Shanty Workshop is the perfect chance to warm up those vocal cords, meet great people, and learn something new—all in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
What to Expect:
- A friendly welcome from the West Bridgford-based South Notts Men’s Chorus
- Hands-on guidance from our talented musical team to learn some classic sea shanties
- Plenty of laughs and community spirit as we practice together
- A well-deserved break to enjoy some delicious food (included in your ticket!)
- And finally… it’s showtime! We’ll head down to the main pub area to perform our shanties for the crowd—don’t be surprised if there’s a bit of audience participation!
