Local gardeners will be delighted to hear that the Specialist Plant Fair will be returning to Holme Pierrepont Hall hosted by Flower Power Plant Fairs.
This popular event will take place on the grounds of the Grade I listed home of The Brackenbury Family, just a few minutes drive away from Trent Bridge on Sunday 7 April, from 11 am to 4 pm.
Featuring several specialist plant growers and nurseries from across the North and Midlands, gardeners can browse and purchase a variety of herbaceous plants and shrubs, grown here in the UK by keen and enthusiastic independent nurseries.
The plants are typically varieties which are not often seen in mainstream garden centres and the growers have cultivated unique and specialist plants, for sale at reasonable prices.
Most plants have a particular emphasis on colour and shape and include climbers, lilies, herbs, heucheras, shade-loving plants and ferns.
Entry is £6 per adult which includes entry to the Grade II listed Courtyard gardens, woodland and parkland. Children under 15 years enter for FREE.
No advance ticket purchase is necessary. Payment will be taken on the gate. Cash is preferred although card payment will be available.
Local event caterers, Boxed Drinks will be selling delicious 200 Degrees coffee, tea and cakes throughout the event.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
