Severn Trent Water has confirmed that an operation will be taking place on Stamford Road, West Bridgford.
The works are set to commence on Friday, 4 August 2023, and will be in effect from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The affected area will be a 10-metre radius around the junction of Stamford Road and Dunster Road.
Engineers will carry out necessary repairs to a faulty manhole cover and its frame, which have been identified as defective.
In light of these works, a temporary road closure will be implemented on Stamford Road. This closure is expected to cause some disruption to the usual traffic flow, and motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
Motorists are advised to divert their route via Rodney Road, Burleigh Road, Trevor Road, and Leahurst Road. The same route can be used in reverse for those travelling in the opposite direction.

NCT- Between 07:00-16:00 on Friday 4th August, Stamford Road is to be closed for manhole cover and frame works.
Green 6 will divert in both directions via Rectory Rd, Melton Rd & Melton Gardens.
All stops on Gordon/Trevor/Stamford & Alford Road cannot be served.
