Two burglary suspects were tracked down and arrested only minutes after police were alerted.
Police were called to a property on St Martin’s Road, Bilborough, just after 7.15pm on Wednesday (26 March) when the owner reported a break-in.
Officers rushed to the scene and quickly arrested two suspects on the neighbouring street Wigman Road.
A knuckle duster, baseball bat, crowbar, bolt cropper and angle grinder were recovered from the fleeing suspects.
Two teenagers, both aged 17, have been charged with burglary, and one has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
The boys have been granted unconditional bail and are due to appear in Nottingham Youth Court on 9 April.
Inquiries into the burglary remain ongoing.
