Tollerton Lane is closed because of flooding this evening Tuesday 12 December.
The road has flooded several times over the last few years affecting homes and residents.
A resident said that an elderly lady is being helped out of the area by emergency services as flood water threatens houses on the lane.
He said:
‘Tollerton flooded again’
‘Too deep for welly boots, an elderly lady being rescued by the emergency services.
‘Second time in a matter of months it’s flooded.’
We have contacted Rushcliffe Borough Council about the problems there.
Water from the fields around Tollerton airport is contributing to flooding of homes in Tollerton.
4,000 houses are due to be built on the site and residents are concerned that rather than address this, the plans put forward by developers and Rushcliffe Borough Council’s draft masterplan could make the situation worse
