This year Tollerton Playgroup celebrates 60 years of nurturing and supporting young children and their families in the village.
The playgroup said;
‘As a small, much-loved village playgroup, we’ve been at the heart of our community since we opened our doors – and we’re so proud to have reached this amazing milestone.
‘To mark the occasion, we’re hosting a 60th Birthday fundraising celebration on Saturday 12th July, from 2–4pm, in the garden of The Air Hostess pub in Tollerton.
‘It promises to be a lovely afternoon for all ages, and we’d love to welcome past and present staff, families, and anyone connected to the playgroup over the years.
‘There’ll be plenty of fun, and we’re also holding a raffle to raise much-needed funds.
‘Prizes include vouchers to local shops and restaurants as well as amazing goods from local suppliers, and more!
‘The raffle will be advertised at our event and drawn on Monday 14th July. As a non-profit, we rely heavily on the support of our community and events like this to keep going.’
