NET said at 5:26 am on Friday 27 February:
‘No tram service between The Forest & Bulwell on the Toton Lane/Hucknall Line and between The Forest and Highbury Vale on the Phoenix Park/Clifton Line.
‘This is due to overhead powerline damage.
‘NCT Yellow Line buses are accepting tram tickets between Bulwell bus station, Cinderhill Island and the City (Milton St next to TK Maxx)
‘EMR trains are accepting tram tickets between Hucknall/Bulwell and Nottingham Station.
Trams will operate uninterrupted from the Forest Park & Ride towards the City, Clifton and Toton.’
Directions towards City, Clifton South and Toton Lane:
‘From Hucknall, alight the tram at Bulwell and use the yellow buses from Bulwell Bus Station towards the City. If you need to continue by tram towards Toton Lane, get off the bus at the South Sherwood St bus stop and board the tram at the Royal Centre tram stop.
‘From Phoenix Park, alight at Cinderhill and use the 70 or 71 bus from outside the Headstocks pub on Cinderhill Road towards the City. If you need to continue by tram towards Clifton South, get off the bus at the South Sherwood St bus stop and board the tram at the Royal Centre tram stop.
‘Tram services towards City, Clifton and Toton will operate uninterrupted from the Forest P&R.’
Directions towards Phoenix Park/Hucknall:
‘From Clifton or Toton, alight the tram at the Royal Centre tram stop and head to TK Maxx on Milton Street, opposite the Victoria clock tower, where you can use the NCT Yellow Line buses.
‘For Hucknall, use any NCT Yellow bus to get to the Bulwell bus station. Cross over the main road to the tram stop, and continue by tram.
‘For Phoenix Park, use only the yellow 70 or 71 buses, alighting at Headstocks pub. Cross over towards the pub, and you’ll see signs for NET along Bagnall Road. Head down the ramp for Cinderhill and take the path on the right for Phoenix Park.
‘If you’ve continued by tram to the Forest, you will need to walk to Mansfield Road for the Yellow Line buses.’
