Two in custody after drugs raids in West Bridgford and East Leake

Further warrants conducted to combat drugs in Rushcliffe, say local police.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said:

‘With support from the Tactical Support Group, two further early morning warrants were carried out today by the Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Police Team.

‘Today warrants were conducted in East Leake and West Bridgford with further focus on combating drug dealing and drug misuse in our communities.

‘Substance abuse often drives people into crime – including theft, drug trafficking and violence – which not only harms individuals but also puts our communities at risk and places pressure on public services. We remain committed to tackling this issue locally.
