Tests

Between 4 April 2022 and 10 April 2022, there have been 3,239,337 tests. This shows a decrease of -24.8% compared to the previous 7 days.

Cases

A confirmed case is someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.

Between 5 April 2022 and 11 April 2022, 281,269 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -38.3% compared to the previous 7 days.

Vaccinations

Vaccines are currently given in 3 doses.

52,925,734 people had been given a first dose by the end of 10 April 2022.

49,556,712 people had been given a second dose by the end of 10 April 2022.

38,974,239 people had been given a booster or third dose by the end of 10 April 2022.

Healthcare

Some people with coronavirus have to go into hospital.

Between 30 March 2022 and 5 April 2022, 16,438 went into hospital with coronavirus. This shows a decrease of -0.2% compared to the previous 7 days.

There were 20,051 patients in hospital with coronavirus on 8 April 2022.
