The road is likely to remain closed for some time today ( Sunday 20 September ).
The road fully reopened at around 1 pm.
Police said:
‘Road closed Derby Road between Priory Island & QMC A52.
‘Likely to remain closed for some time.’

Highways England said:
‘The A52 in both directions between Priory Island (A6464 Beeston) to QMC (A6200 RingRoad) is currently CLOSED due to an fallen tree in the carriageway.’
AA Roadwatch reports:
‘Road closed due to fallen tree on A52 Clifton Boulevard both ways from A6464 Woodside Road (Priory Island) to Middleton Boulevard. Traffic is coping well.’
