The A50 in Derbyshire is closed in both directions between J3 Chellaston Interchange (Chellaston, Swadlincote A514) and J1 Sawtry Interchange (Long Eaton B6540; Castle Donington).

The closure also encompasses access to and from J2 Aston Interchange (Derby A6).
The closure is due to an ongoing Derbyshire Police led incident near Trent Valley.
