‘Emergency services were called to reports of a serious collision on Nuthall Road, Aspley, at 2.20pm today (13 October).
‘Nuthall Road is closed from Cinderhill Island and Stockhill / Broxtowe Lane junction in both directions while the investigation take place.
‘The closure is expected to be in place for several hours.
‘Thank you for your patience as we deal with this incident.’

There has been an RTC on Nuthall Road between Stockhill Lane and Cinderhill.
This will cause significant delays to Orange 35, Yellow 70, 71 and Turquoise 78, 79/A.
Yellow 71/B will divert in both directions along Bagnall Road (the 70 route).
Turquoise 79/A/B will divert in both directions along Melbourne Road, Aspley Lane and Broxtowe Lane.
