Heavy rain may lead to some localised disruption.
What to expect
– Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
– Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
– Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
– Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely
An area of rain is expected to move westwards overnight giving some locally heavy rain during Thursday morning, before gradually clearing northwards. Many places will see 5 to 10 mm during this period, with a few places perhaps seeing 30 to 40 mm in 3 to 6 hours which may lead to some localised disruption.
