Several roadworks schemes will affect routes across Nottingham over the coming days, including lane closures, temporary traffic lights and ongoing utility works.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for journeys and check routes before travelling.
Ongoing works
Lindfield Road remains closed between Alwyn Road and Shipley Road for Severn Trent works. The closure is scheduled to remain in place until Friday 21 August.
Multi-way traffic lights are in place at the Lambourne Drive junction of Ellwood Crescent for Cadent Gas works. These works are due to continue until Friday 10 July.
A lane closure remains in place on Nuthall Road between Western Boulevard and Melbourne Road for footway works. The scheme is expected to continue until Friday 17 July.
Works from Monday 29 June
Multi-way traffic lights will be in place on Bramcote Lane between Wollaton Road and Parkside for Cadent Gas works from Monday 29 June until Friday 31 July.
A lane closure will be in place on Abbey Street on the approach to Dunkirk roundabout from Monday 29 June until Tuesday 30 June. The works are being carried out by National Highways for inner ring management on the roundabout.
A lane closure will also be in place on Western Boulevard from Wilkinson Street to opposite Newport Drive for Cadent Gas works. These works are due to run from Monday 29 June until Monday 6 July.
Other works
Two-way lights are in place overnight at the Victoria Street junction with Fletcher Gate for tram track repairs. These works are due to finish on Saturday 27 June.
Two-way lights are also in place on The Wells Road for Severn Trent works until Wednesday 1 July.
A lane closure is in place on Hendon Rise at the junction of The Wells Road for carriageway resurfacing works until Friday 3 July.
Two-way lights will be in place on Bramcote Lane for National Grid works from Friday 26 June until Sunday 28 June.
Two-way lights will also be in place on Thane Road for National Grid works from Saturday 27 June until Sunday 28 June.
On Sunday 28 June, a lane closure will be in place on Middleton Boulevard between Selston Drive and Hawton Crescent for Severn Trent pipe installation works.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead, particularly around the city’s main routes, as delays are possible at peak times.
