West Bridgford Methodist Church is preparing to open its unique and immersive Christmas experience to members of the local community over two special weekends, 14th-15th and 21st-22nd December
“So THIS is Christmas” will transport you to the heart of the Christmas story, reimagined in a captivating and imaginative way.
Visitors of all ages are invited to explore six enchanting stages, each bringing to life the biblical narrative and its contemporary relevance.
Visit Joseph’s workshop, or sit with the shepherds on the hillside, and enter the Wise Men’s Escape Room, as you progress on your journey.

Immerse yourselves in colourful lighting, imaginative settings, and compelling storytelling.
Hear tales of hope, love, and joy, interwoven with modern-day narratives that resonate with our lives today. To get the most from the scenes, please bring smartphones or other devices to listen to the audio stories and access other resources using the QR codes at each of the settings. Then, come to join in festive craft activities and savour delicious refreshments in our church hall.
Admission is FREE to all, but donation gifts for the Meadows Food Bank are welcome, which is held at the neighbouring Methodist church, Bridgeway Hall.
The Adventure will be open between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Saturdays 14th and 21st December with craft activities available for all ages.
On Sunday 15th December it will be open between 10.00am and 12.00pm and our Community Carol Service will begin at 2.00pm
On Sunday 22nd December, our Morning Worship at 10.30am will be a Nativity Service, to which everyone is invited, and the Adventure will open between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
