Cricket fans and local residents are being advised of significant temporary parking and traffic restrictions coming into effect across West Bridgford later this month.
The move coincides with the England v Zimbabwe Test Match at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.
The measures, detailed in a bulletin issued today by Via East Midlands in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council and Chevron Traffic Management, will affect numerous key roads surrounding the venue between 15 and 25 May 2025.
Full List of Road Closures and Restrictions
From Thursday 22 May at 08:00 until Sunday 25 May at 20:00, the following roads will be subject to prohibitions on vehicle access:
Fox Road (between Radcliffe Road and Hound Road)
Hound Road (between Fox Road and Bridgford Road)
Additionally, directional travel restrictions will apply:
Fox Road: One-way only from A6520 Radcliffe Road towards Hound Road.
Hound Road: One-way only from Fox Road towards Bridgford Road.
During the event period, no waiting, loading, or unloading will be permitted at any time on the following roads:
Large stretches of A6520 Radcliffe Road (both sides)
Fox Road, Hound Road, and Bridgford Road (various sections on both sides)
Musters Road (both east and west sides in parts)
Turn Restrictions and U-Turn Bans
Vehicles must turn left only from Pavilion Road onto A6520 Radcliffe Road.
A complete U-turn ban will be enforced along A6520 Radcliffe Road between A60 Loughborough Road and Fox/Colwick Roads.
Right-turns are prohibited from A6520 Radcliffe Road into Pavilion Road.
