Wilford care home rated ‘good’ by CQC after inspection

New Care’s Ruddington Manor Care Centre, located off Ruddington Lane in Wilford, has been rated ‘good’ in all areas following a recent CQC inspection at the home.

The report confirmed that the service provided by the care home operator was safe, effective and well-led, with many improvements made since the last inspection, including mitigating risks linked to emergency evacuation, auditing procedures that monitor resident progress and the staff training programme.

Residents interviewed during the inspection said they “felt safe living at Ruddington Manor, with staff respecting their privacy and dignity whilst helping them to remain as independent as possible” and that staff were “kind, caring and willing to go the extra mile”.
