A man who was cleaning windows without the home owner’s consent has been arrested after reportedly trying to enter the property.
The incident happened at Middleton Boulevard at around 4 pm on Wednesday (15 April 2020) when the victim reported that the man started to clean his windows and when asked to leave, the offender began to demand money and then trying to open the rear windows and door.
A 30-year-old man left before officers arrived, but was quickly found and arrested under suspicion of fraud and burglary.
He remains in police custody.
