Wollaton Hall, the Camellia House, the Formal Gardens and the Nottingham Industrial Museum are closed, including all car parks, vehicle entrances, cafe, shops & toilets.
Nottingham City Council has taken the decision to also close the car parks for Wollaton Park to help reduce the park users, to restrict the spread of coronavirus.
A spokesperson said:
‘Wollaton Park remains open to pedestrians & cyclists for fresh air, a walk or excercise, though please observe social distancing (2m) especially on the pathways and play parks.
‘All public events & activities, between March and May, will be postponed and suspended with immediate effect to help minimise non-essential travel.
‘Over the coming days and weeks, our customer service team will be discussing with customers affected by these changes, to work through alternative measures, and facilitate how we can best help. Please do get in touch if you have any arrangements you would like to discuss.
‘We are also working closely with suppliers, and events vendors to work through postponing any planned activity over the coming weeks, and we will continue to update you via a dedicated page when the events & activity is rescheduled and can be resumed.’
