Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident on 28 September.
A spokesperson for Tuxford Fire Station said:
‘Crews this afternoon were mobilised for standby duties at Newark whilst they dealt with an incident in their area.
‘No sooner had we left our station we were mobilised to a humanitarian assistance in Newark Market Place.
‘Upon arrival EMAS were already in attendance along with Lincolnshire Air Ambulance and our services were no longer required.
‘We then proceeded to carry on standby duties at Newark.
