The bid is for improvements to the Angel Row and Maid Marian Way areas of the city centre.
Nottingham City Council is expected to accept funding of £11,781,340 from the Future High Streets Fund (FHSF) to develop the Angel Row Creative Co-operative and highway infrastructure proposals as outlined in the bid to FHSF.
A spokesperson for Nottingham City Council said: “Nottingham City Council has bid for £11.78 million from the Future High Streets Fund to bring major improvements to the area around Angel Row and Maid Marian Way, providing a welcome boost to Nottingham’s city centre post-Covid.
“This is subject to ministerial approval at the end of March, and this Leader’s Key Decision is a formal process required to be able to accept the funding once approved.”
