Police are appealing for dashcam footage after a child was hurt in a hit-and-run on a zebra crossing.
A 13-year-old girl suffered scrapes and bruising after being hit by a grey car as she used the crossing in Hucknall Road, Bulwell Forest.
The car failed stop and continued in the direction of Bulwell.
Officers have studied local CCTV footage following the incident, which took place at around 7.30am on 3 October, and carried out other local inquiries as part of their investigation.
They are now asking motorists who were in the area around the time of the incident to check their dash cam footage and to come forward if they have captured the incident or its aftermath.
They would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision but has yet to speak to officers.
PC Jade Clay, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Thankfully the young girl’s injuries were not serious but it is important we trace the driver.
“If you were in Hucknall Road around the time of the incident, it’s possible you have dash cam footage that captures the incident or the grey car as it drove away.
“Please check your dashcam and come forward if you have information that could assist the investigation.
“Likewise, if you witnessed this incident, please call us on 101 quoting incident 0125_03102023.”
