Police have issued images of three men jailed after cannabis with a potential street value of more than £50,000 was found in a three-bedroom detached house.
A total of 66 plants were found growing in a ground floor room and two bedrooms within the property in Main Road, Wilford.
The electrical supply had been bypassed and cannabis growing equipment was found in the rooms which had been converted for the sole purpose of cultivating the Class B drug.
The occupants, Simas Janauskas and Vytautus Liukaitis, were arrested when police carried out a warrant and uncovered the grow on 30 January 2021.
A third man, Evaldas Nemcivcius, was later arrested when he turned up at the address on 11 February 2021.
All three men were subsequently charged and appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Tuesday (27 July 2021).
Nemcivcius, 21, of Main Road, Wilford, was jailed up for seven months.
Janauskas, 24, and Liukaitis, 23, both of no fixed address, were jailed for six months and five months respectively.
It’s estimated the drugs recovered from the address could have achieved a potential maximum yield of £55,440 if the plants had reached their full harvesting potential.
Police Constable Gail Collins of Nottinghamshire Police, who led the investigation, said: “Drug-related crime has a significant impact on the people who live in our communities and we are committed to tackling it head on and taking positive action.
“Consequently we regularly conduct proactive intelligence-led raids on local properties and will continue to do everything we can to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs including executing further warrants.
