The Friary is hosting one of its regular Bargain Sales this Saturday, 30 May.
The sale is from 10 am until 12 noon at the Drop-In Centre at 46 Musters Road, West Bridgford.
As well as the opportunity to pick up a bargain, there will also be refreshments, a chance to socialise, and the opportunity to learn more about the organisation and the work it does.
Chief Executive Ben Talbot is looking forward to the day.
‘We are delighted to be hosting another sale and are really pleased to see that the good weather is holding until then.
‘We welcome anyone who wants to come along. You may be a regular attendee or coming for the first time.
‘It is a great community event, whether you would like to browse, make a purchase, or sample the excellent refreshments.
‘As always, there will be a wide range of sale items, including women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, and small electrical items. We also want to thank everyone who makes the event what it is.
‘This includes everyone who has donated items and especially those who give up their time to volunteer and/or make cakes. All the funds raised are used to help us continue to support those affected by homelessness.’
